☇ 007 - Video | Action for Cherrygrove

[ Feed clicks on. It's Squall's Cyndaquil and it's going frantic, arms waving, tears streaming at the pokegear. Hopefully you're covering your ears cause this is going to be loud.]

CCCCYYYYYNNNNNNDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

[ Taking a deep breath, the fire type immediately goes into a long tirade about how it can't find its trainer, at all, that he's gone, that Squall is nowhere (Help, help, I lost my trainer!!) and pretty much spazzing and crying before Squall's Gyarados pops out of its ball. ]

CynQuil!? Quil Cynda Nda QuilQuil!

[ The Gyaradoes answers and soon enough you see Cyndaquil spazzing again, flames erupting from its back, flames pulsing with each word an growl Cyndaquil makes at the Gyarados. The Dragon just roars back, making biting motions with its jaw and oh dear god, it sounds like they're arguing and insulting each other, boys and girls--finally living up to their unofficial nicknames? Someone better stop them soon or they'll just tear down the inn!! And where in Hyne's name is that Squall, anyway?

[ Someone with a keen eye might actually a piece of white paper on the nightstand, tucked under a book and some other miscellaneous things ]

[Cecil does not have keen eyes, but.]

Now now, you two, I'm sure he'll be back soon.

[Meanwhile, Cleffa is watching the fight with interest. It's even better than TV!]

[ The fire type glares, actually glares at Cecil. (He's been gone for a least a day or two!!) Gyarados makes another rumbling roar, yawns and barks out (Stop worrying. He'd be back.). Cyndaquil growls and turns around, about ready to ember the dragon (He left us! You, me! He's gone!). ]

[Cecil didn't quite get that, but he understands that Cyndaquil is not happy.]

...How much food did he leave you?

[Please don't answer 'none' or 'enough for a month'. Please.]

[ (Food, yes! Food! He left food. But not... much?) The fire type waves its arms just as the Dragon lounges on the bed. Dragon is worried but there isn't a point in blowing its head off like ~~Zell~~ Cyndaquil.

[ Gyarados roars at the mouse again, inciting another argument ]

[Cleffa translates that out of sympathy. Not much food can't be enough for a Gyarados.]

Would you like me to bring you some more? My shift at work is nearly over.

[Because Squall wouldn't want his Pokémon to die of hunger, right? ...Right?]

Cecil, I am already at the inn. I can give him food until your shift is over, if you would like.

[The cry also caught Firion's attention.]

Squall also caught two ghosts back then. Could you see if he left them behind too?

Of course.

[He walks in and only sees the two pokemon inside.]

No, just these two. Hm? There's a note.

[He picks it up and his eyes widen.]

Cecil, Squall's gone!

[ The fire type squeals again, sobbing. Isn't that what it's been trying to tell you, silly humans?! Trainer is gone! Trainer is gone!!

[ Gyarados roars at Squall's starter, more than aggravated at the fire type now. ]

Gone? Where? Did he say?

[Let's not panick just yet. Maybe he's just gone fishing or something.

...Okay, Cecil might be making a mental list of things necessary for a search party right now.]

Just that he left. I'm going to find him!

[He lays down the note and is already making his way back to his room to get his own stuff.]

I'll get more supplies at the Pokémart. I'll tell you if I see him on the way.

[He almost ends the conversation, but...]

We should ask if anyone has seen him through the Pokégear. Someone might have information.

[ (Saa, Where are you, trainer...?) Cyndaquil stares after Firion, whimpering. ]

Alright, I will let you know if I see him as well.

[He stops briefly and kneels down to the Cyndaquil.]

I'll find him, don't worry. I promise!

If he's not in Cherrygrove, he should look around route 30. I doubt he went back to New Bark Town.

Cyndaquil?

[Have a really confused flower girl at the other line while she watched the Gyarados and Cyndaquil. She doesn't look too happy and frowns.]

Stop it! Both of you!

[Her face softens a bit and decides to talk to her friend.]

Cyndaquil, what's wrong? [And she realizes something.] Don't tell me Squall is in trouble again.

[ Gyarados growls at the female, making chomping motions with its mouth. As the Cyndaquil starts bawling again, crying out to pretty human (Trainer, Trainer is gone! He left me, He left us~!!) ]

[Aerith will be ignoring the Gyarados and listen to Cyndaquil closely. Chansey will be giving her trainer hints at what Cyndaquil is saying from time to time.]

That can't... [She shakes her head.] Cyndaquil, I don't think Squall would do such a thing! There must be a reasonable explanation behind all this.

[She knew Squall didn't abuse his pokemon and she knows he's a good person. Squall wouldn't abandon anyone like this. Looking around in the room's background for a bit.]

Hey. Have you two search around the room? I bet your trainer has left a clue on where he went off to. Like a note, for example. Is there a piece of paper anywhere in the room?

[ Cyndaquil just bursts out crying again. For a Fire-type, this pokemon can cry. A lot. Gyarados just rolls its eyes at the human and growls (Trainer gone. Simple as that.) ]

[ Cyndaquil's head jerks and immediately, it starts scurrying around the room for anything, anything its trainer left behind. At least until it accidentally bumps its head against the wall. ]

[Aerith looks at the Gyrados and can't believe she somehow understood what he said to her without Chansey translating. ~~When did she start understanding poke speak?~~ She watches Cyndaquil run around the room and couldn't help worry a bit.]

Be care-- [He just hit his head against the wall. She'll look even more worried wondering if it was okay.] Cyndaquil! Are you...alright?

[Chansey, on the other hand, will be looking around the room (from the pokegear) carefully while her trainer worries over the pokemon. It doesn't take long until she notices the nightstand. Oh look! There's a book and piece of paper under it. Hmmm. That's funny.]

Chansey!

W-Wait! What are yo--

[Chansey will be taking the pokegear from her trainer and point towards the nightstand.]Chansey chan! Sey chan chansey!

[Translation: Look at the nightstand! I see a note under a book!]

[Seriously why is everything so loud]

... Now what is the matter?

[Also don't mind Suzuki's Gengar who seems to enjoy trying to take her PokeGear away as she speaks. She does, however, see that paper.]

[ Mouse flails, crying at the camera before starting to run all over the room. The Gyarados watches the fire type before growling low before using it's tail to try and trip it, er get it to slow down ]

[She sighs]

Not very bright, are you... [Her eyes catch again on that paper and she lifts her hand to point the best she can.]

Go get that...

[ Get what? Cyndaquil looks up and tries to see where Suzuki is pointing. It doesn't find anything strange... ]

That. [She taps on the screen, getting a little frustrated.

And then Gengar pops up, mimicking his master, but hopefully saying it in terms the smaller Pokemon will understand.]

[ (Pap-er. Paper. Paper!) The Cyndaquil does another circle of the room and this time, finds something on the nightstand. While trying to pull it out, the Cyndaquil manages to tug too hard, landing on the floor with a thud. It whimpers, tears streaming ]

[Glances to her Gengar with a sigh.] Tell it to bring it to the screen so I can read it.

[Well. That was loud. Thank goodness Light had gone out to get some air instead of staying at Hope's bedside the whole time. But she could see that note, and no human around, so...the trainer was probably gone.]

Hey! Cut that out. Yelling isn't going to make things better.

[ The tears, they do not stop. The Gyarados yawns and shakes its head at the mouse ]

[Light does not understand Cynda-speak, but the tone and the tears tell enough.]

Crying won't make your trainer come back any sooner.

[ (B-But, Trainer! He's gone) The fire type wails into the pokegear, sobbing. (He left me, he left me. Why? Why?)]

[This is her own fire type, the Ponyta Odin, peeking over her shoulder to see what's making all that fuss. Lightning is just..backing off as he starts whinnying. Let the Pokemon talk.]

[(When did you last see him?) Times like these Odin really wants his trainer to understand Poke-speak.]

[alskfalsdkf ffffffffff what is that. He was sleeping and then loud crying. In the neighborhood.

... Isn't that the Cyndaquil with the grumpy guy? And a... Gyarados. Oh dear.]

Hey, hey, cut it out you two! [What to do, what to do...]

[ Hey! It's that familiar kid, the one that talked to Trainer when it refused to evolved! Cyndaquil wails at the human, the Gyarados shaking its head at the fire type's antics. ]

Where's your trainer?

[Irresponsible guy, leaving his Pokémon alone.]

[ Cyndaquil just sobs. (Isn't it obvious enough?) Gyarados jerks its head around the room and roars into the pokegear. (Trainer is gone.) ]

[Upset cries from another pokemon clearly warrant investigation, so Bartz finds his way into the room where ~~Zell~~ Cyndaquil is panicking, poking his head into the room to interrupt the arguing.]

Woopa?

[ Normally, ~~Zell~~ launches itself at Bartz and sobs, clinging. ~~Seifer~~ just roars at the newcomer before settling down to lounge on the bed ]

[If the Wooper had arms, it would be giving ~~Zell~~ something like a comforting hug. As it is, he does his best to be helpful and supportive.]

Woopa! Woop, Woopa pa. Woo, Woopa.

Quil, Quil CynCyn DaDa Quil Cyndaquil Cynda~!!

Woop Woop! Woopa, woo, Woopa pa, woo. Pa Woopa!

[Translation: Something along the lines of "He'll be back, and if he doesn't get back soon, we can go on a hunt for him! It'll be an adventure!"]

[ (Don't want adventure! Want Trainer!!) ]

[ (T-Trainer! Trainer is gone! How will adventure bring Trainer back?) ]
