solidbarrels[ The feed clicks on, but this time it's intentional (as if Squall's trying to prove something). Squall's hands are shaking just slightly enough to be almost unnoticeable. His voice is however firm as he calls out, flinging his arm out toward the side ]
Flamewheel!
[ Cyndaquil launches into action, immediately charging toward the tired looking Drifloon that floats nearby. The mouse's body is engulfed by flames right before it makes contact, the Drifloon wails, knocked back by the force, crumpling onto the ground. Squall immediately throws a pokeball at it, a slight (very slight and devious) smirk of victory, on his face ]
Gotcha!
[ The pokeball shakes and shudders as the red light flashes before finally stopping. Squall walks over, bending down to pick it up just as another pokemon comes barreling by. The SeeD grabs his newly caught pokemon and straightens. The new pokemon making another sweep before rushing toward Squall as if to try and tackle him over. Instead, it grows transparent and passes through the teen, inciting a hard shudder as coldness sweeps through his body.
[ Squall snarls and orders his starter ]
Ember! Smokescreen! Flamewheel it!
Cyn, Cyn, Cyndaquilllll!!!!
[ Smoke engulfs the entire area after the the fire-type throws an ember attack at the ghost pokemon (Dusk Dusk Dusk Duskull!!) who is apparently laughing at them. Squall's growl is heard followed by more commands for Cyndaquil to uses. It takes a while but the smoke finally clears and instead of a knocked out ghost, it's Cyndaquil in a dead faint. Squall mutters to himself ]
Hyne dammit. So not my day.
Tch, Return! Don't lose, Fish.
[ After calling back his fainted Cyndaquil, Squall grabs his other pokeball from his belt and throws it, releasing a Magikarp of all things into battle. He glances back at his pokegear and cocks an eyebrow before calling out ]
Suzuki. You once said something good might come from my fish? Watch this.
[ Squall smirks outright at the camera and stands back as his Magikarp alternates between splashing and tackling. The Duskull just continues to laugh, howling different sentences while the fish determinedly tries to attack. Soon enough a bright glow starts to emerge from within the Magikarp, blinding everyone nearby. When the light fades...]
GYYAAARRAA, GYARAAADOOOS!!
[ The large dragon pokemon snarls and roars, even at Squall who merely looks away and back at the pokegear. A smug, if tired, look is on his face ]
About damn time, isn't it?
[ Squall chuckles, shaking his head before calling out his first command. ]
Bite!
[ The Duskull finally stops laughing, staring fearfully at the large gaping mouth of the dragon, not even trying to dodge as the Gyarados does exactly what its trainer says, repeatedly, until the Duskull is finally knocked out.
[ Squall throws the pokeball at the fainted ghost and watches the process closely. With a final click of the pokeball, he walks over to pick it up. His newly evolved Dragon stares at him for a moment before immediately launching at the SeeD, almost as if determined to try and bite Squall's head off. ]
[[ OoC: Cecil-mun! If you want Cecil to be hovering nearby while this happens, you're totally free to do so. :) ]]
